Determine proper storate methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities. Drive truck in order to pick up emergency stock needs and delver supply to designated locations. Prepare and maintain records. Records inventories shortages, shipments, and goods used or issued. Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment. Handles insurance and distribution of inventories. Handles materials, products, parts, and supplies to coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions. Determine sequence and release of stocks according to stock availability. Recommend disposal of excess defective and/or obsolete stock. Advise coworkers on the appropriateness of parts, supplies, or materials requested. Compile review and maintain data from delivery receipts, requisitions from other documents to assess supply needs. Confer with purchasing personnel and vendors regarding stock procurement and availability. Provide assistance to the Accounting or Purchasing with related tasks as needed, including but not limited to documentation, data entry, and coordination with vendors.
